Yeah, so I’m not Canadian, so I don’t really get hockey. Let me draw a quick diagram to show you where hockey appears on my Awesome Scale…

The Awesome Scale is really deep and there are many levels to it. You’ve only just seen the bottom portion for now, but I think it makes my feelings on hockey clear.

I’m surprised hockey has penalties at all. Any sport where you’re actually allowed to get into a fist fight during play shouldn’t even bother with penalties.
