Your iPhone Is Now Also Your Boarding Pass
This guy is now the coolest guy ever, because while waiting in line at the American Airlines counter, he went to aa.com on his iPhone, logged in, and pulled up a PDF of his boarding pass.
He then convinced the counter agent to scan the barcode as displayed on his iPhone and it worked!
Apple needs to make a commercial out of this.

Don’t know if I can claim “coolest guy ever”… But, glad to be in contention for the title.
I worked for Apple for 3 years as a Systems Engineer… they’d NEVER let me be in a commercial. They know too way much about me to risk THAT!

You’re my hero. Even with an actor, I still think it would make an awesome iPhone commercial. I’m definitely going to try that next time I fly. Of course, I’ll have a paper boarding pass in my pocket in case it doesn’t work because I’m a big wuss.
