futureme

Awesome Sites: Send your future self an email at Future Me. I want to send something to myself like 5 or 10 years from now but I have no idea what to say. Too bad it doesn’t work in reverse, where your future self could send your current self an email. I would totally tell myself next week’s lottery numbers. I bet Google could make a site like that.

nintendohat

Awesome Products: Geek alert! Check out this knit hat with the original Nintendo controller as its pattern.

gasfire

Awesome Videos: Pop Quiz: Lighting a bonfire with 5 gallons of gas – good idea or bad idea? If you’re not sure (or you just want to see some morons do it), go ahead and watch the video.

filleritem

Awesome Sites: You ever go to Amazon to buy something that’s slightly under $25 (the breakpoint for free shipping) and now you have to either pay shipping or buy something else? Filler Item will show you all the cool stuff that’s just a few bucks so you’ll never have to pay for shipping and you won’t spend more than you need to.

instantrimshot

Awesome Sites: I use Instant Rim Shot all the time. Sadly, I’m usually alone.

greader

Awesome News: Google Reader now auto-translates foreign RSS feeds so you can read ‘em in English. That’s really an awesome idea…but how do I know what sites to subscribe to if I can’t read them to begin with?

minid

Awesome Products: A MACHINE THAT MAKES MINI-DONUTS!!! My life is now complete. Now I have no reason to leave the house before noon on weekends. I’m not even kidding.

gyminee

Awesome Sites: Trying to get in shape? Gyminee is a great place to track your progress.

spam

Awesome News: Well, now I know why we still have spam. Turns out that a standard spam campaign will generate 1 sale for every 12.5 million emails sent, and that can still result in about $2 million per year. Not a whole lot of reason to read the article now, since I just gave you the best part.

Awesomeology is a daily collection of awesome links, updated Monday-Friday. If this isn’t enough for you, follow me on Twitter. My Twitter page has even more awesome links than you’ll find here, and I update that pretty much every day, weekends and holidays included. Don’t understand Twitter? This video will explain.
