So you probably know by now that I post a whole bunch of stuff, both here on Awesomeology and on my Twitter page.

And that stuff often includes cool products that I happen to find online.

I just got the idea over this past weekend to put together a holiday gift guide. It’s filled with some of the coolest gift ideas that I could remember from the past year.

Awesome News: Yesterday I learned about the Naked Pumpkin Run and it’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. Here’s a news story about it, and here are some pictures (not safe for work).

Awesome Links: Remember how the beginning of the Red Sox/Rays game was all messed up by TBS (they had technical difficulties for the first half hour). No one knew what was going on, except those of us who used Twitter. Read this story. You don’t have to use Twitter to know how to search it for stuff like this.

Awesome Videos: This is really amazing. Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” as sung acappella by one guy doing all 64 parts!

Awesome Links: Did you know that Twitter can save you money, get your DirectTV hooked up faster, and get free tickets? Here’s 16 awesome things that Twitter has done for people.

Awesome Videos: Learn how to pick up a Playmate, as taught by Alison Waite (a Playmate). There’s actually some really good advice for picking up hot girls here (trust me), but the little skits (between the pieces of advice) are not as funny as they think.

Awesome News: The Beatles songs are coming to Rock Band! I repeat, the Beatles songs are coming to Rock Band!!!

Awesome Products: If you have a kid, there’s no better time than now to teach them about money. And an awesome way to do it is with the Money Savvy Pig, a piggy bank that has separate sections for saving, spending, donating and investing. Very cool idea.

Awesome Videos: Another video in Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy was recently released. It’s “Barry Gibb Rides a Roller Coaster” and it’s marginally funny. It will entertain you for a good 3 seconds.

Awesome Sites: HubDub uses a stock market like system (but with play money) to forecast the outcome of almost everything. People don’t put their money where their mouth is unless they have real confidence, so it’s actually pretty accurate.

Awesome News: Who do you think is better at knowing when their spouse/partner is cheating, men or women? The answer might surprise you.

Awesome Sites: Ever need to get a few people together who live far away? Where should you meet that is an equal drive for everybody? Meet In Between Us is a great site that was designed perfectly to perform that function. Really really well done. Just enter two (or more) addresses and it will provide meeting places in between everybody. Awesome.

Awesome Products: Somebody get this for me for Christmas. Stat. This is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen - a hoodie that holds your beer!!

Awesome Sites: Confess your spending sins and watch other people do the same (on video) at Spendster. The idea is to make you think more before buying stuff and hopefully save more money.

Awesome Links: I’m loving this magnet calendar idea. This was filed under awesome links instead of products, because it doesn’t actually exist, it’s just a concept. Someone please produce it, because I will buy it.

Awesome Links: Here are 8 ways Twitter will change your life. Let me just say, I know a lot of people on Awesomeology don’t really care about Twitter. But if you don’t do anything else, you should get familiar with Twitter Search. It’s light years ahead of Google when it comes to up-to-the-minute information.

Awesome News: First and foremost, congratulations to the 2008 World Series Champion Philadelphia Phillies! We’ve been waiting 25 years for another championship in this city. Let’s hope we don’t have to wait that long for the next one! For the Philly fans out there, here’s an mp3 of the 9th inning as called by the legendary Harry Kalas.

Awesome Videos: This is the video of the month! It’s a bunch of kids in some school somewhere who took TI’s “Whatever You Like” and made it into “You Can Vote However You Like” And it’s awesome. I’m making a damn ringtone from this song.

Awesome Sites: What are people upset about right now? Cursebird is a real-time look at what people on Twitter are cursing about.

Awesome News: If you are on trial for stealing cars, perhaps you shouldn’t show up to court in another stolen car like this guy did. I’m not a lawyer or anything, but it doesn’t seem like a smart legal move.

Awesome Videos: If you want to get a lot of views on YouTube, it’s not really that hard. Just break out the camera and tape yourself shotgunning a beer while your wife hits you with a tazer gun. If that guy is reading this, I’d suggest adding a baseball to the balls next time. Always go for three.

Awesome Sites: Ever feel obligated to call someone but you don’t really want to talk to them? Slydial is your answer! Just dial 267-SLYDIAL and you’ll skip straight to their voicemail…their phone will never ring. I’ve used it before, it’s definitely free and it definitely works!

Awesome News: I always thought that I knew what turns me on. You know…pretty face, nice body, etc. Apparently I was wrong. This study says that all a girl needs to do is wear red and it will get me all hot. Okay.

Awesome Sites: Nabbit connects your cell phone to the radio. If you hear a cool new song or even an interesting ad, Nabbit will tell you what it is and you can even download lots of them right away. Neat.

Awesome Sites: Have you ever thought about designing or inventing a product, but the only thing stopping you from actually taking action and producing it is the thought “what if nobody else would actually buy it”? Upload your concept design to Kancept and people will tell you if they would buy it. It’s also a neat site to click through and say “yes” or “no” to other people’s ideas!

Awesome News: Think you live in a bad area? This block is so dangerous that the post office stopped delivering mail!

Awesome News: Here’s a news story from an actual news organization comparing various light beers. Heineken Light came out #1. Does anybody here like Heineken? I’m not really a fan.

Awesome Products: Custom condoms?? Oh yeah. With My Face Condoms you can get your own photo on the condom wrapper. It’s really narcissistic and creepy. I love it.

Awesome Sites: I’ve never used the Facebook FunWall, so I doubt I’ll ever use TwitWall, but it looks cool so check it out for yourself

Awesome News: Some guy in Germany is awesome. He’s beating red light cameras by putting a stuffed Animal (from Muppets) in front of his face while driving through and the police can’t issue a ticket because they don’t have photo evidence of who’s driving the car.

Awesome Products: The absolute coolest Halloween costume of the year can be yours for just $797! Steve Jobs’ Outfit.

Awesome Links: 10 creative ways to enjoy bacon. My favorite has to be the Bacon Bowl Salad.

Awesome Products: Guys, you know you have backhair. And you know that you’re deathly afraid of getting it waxed. Here’s a new product that solves both problems…the ManGroomer.

Awesome Products: Okay, I’m pretty awesome, but even I don’t think I’m cool enough to rock the Gene Simmons Axe Guitar, just released for Guitar Hero.

Awesome Sites: MTVmusic.com just made its debut. Supposedly it has every music video ever shown on MTV. If I need to see a music video, it’s probably on YouTube, and this site just doesn’t seem to be much better. Hey MTV, if you’re going to take on YouTube, at the very least you’re going to have to bring high quality videos like Hulu did.

Awesome Links: You know those annoying Tyvek bracelets you get sometimes at concerts, bars, events, etc? Did you know that you can just peel them right off? Me neither.
