For months I’ve been thinking about doing a weekly video show. And I just finished the very first episode.

It’s kind of a test. If you like it, I’ll do more.

Awesome News: Doctors in Colorado found a small foot growing inside the brain of a newborn baby. Seriously, I didn’t make any of that up. Oh, and if that story made you think of this, award yourself two points.

Awesome Sites: I LOVE the site Track My Shipments. Sign up for a free account, and then when you get those “Your Order Has Shipped” emails, just forward them to track@trackmyshipments.com and they’ll take it from there. There’s also an iPhone app for $1.99 which I gladly paid to support how awesome the site is.

Awesome Links: Enjoy the Periodic Table of Awesome (thanks Anna). This effectively ends the Ninja/Pirate debate, as Ninja is correctly in position 2 and Pirate doesn’t show up until 9.

Awesome Videos: Soulja Boy apologizes for using bad language and stuff and promises to set a good example for his young fans from now on. Impressive maturity from an 18 year old, much respect.

Awesome Links: Hilarious look at 8 Guinness World Record attempts that filed miserably. I love the video of #8, and I really really want to be a part of setting a new Smurfing record!

Awesome Videos: When they say “All Aboard!” you don’t have to take it so literally. Settle down, people, another train is coming soon.

Awesome Products: Is this sound activated t-shirt the coolest t-shirt ever? (check out the video below the fold)

Awesome Products: Burger King came out with a body spray called Flame. Now you can smell like burgers! I don’t know why this is marketed at men, I think women should wear this. Hell I would love a girl who smelled like burgers and pizza.

Awesome Sites: A new exercise tracking site called Daily Mile just came out of private beta yesterday and is now available for anyone to sign up. It’s geared towards runners, cyclists and incredible triathletes like myself. Looks great, I’m signing up.

Awesome Links: Running out of room on your hard drive? WinDirStat is an awesome free program I just used to clean up mine. I easily freed up 7GB out of my 30GB hard drive with no problems (I know, I can’t believe my hard drive is only 30GB either. I also have a 1TB external, but I’m getting itchy for a new computer. I’m just so damn cheap).

Awesome Videos: Nothing says Christmas like a tree made from 1,050 beer bottles!

Awesome News: So, what’s the deal with yawning? It’s a lack of oxygen, right? Nope, that’s a myth. Science just found the real reason…yawning cools your brain. That doesn’t explain why they’re contagious though.

Awesome Sites: Want to both test your typing speed and get better at it? Keybr is a great site. I did it twice, had 77 words per minute both times with no errors. Booyah.

Awesome Videos: If you haven’t seen Cedric Johnson’s 60 footer to beat Syracuse, check it out. This is already getting me psyched for March Madness!

Awesome Sites: WineQ thinks it’s the Netflix of Wine, which is an absurd comparison since you’re not buying the movies from Netflix, you’re renting them. Regardless, it’s a very cool site for wine lovers.

Awesome Products: Oooh, I want this shirt!! By the way, if John Connor is reading this, it’s just a joke man. Put down the guns. Hey is that Summer Glau?

Awesome News: And the word of the year (according to the Dutch) is…swaffelen. You’ll have to click that link to see what it means. I’m just glad that now I have a word to describe how I spend my Tuesday nights.

Awesome News: Holy crap, I can’t believe this article is real. A 60-year-old Japanese was thrown into the air in celebration at his retirement party, but no one caught him and he died. If you throw, you catch…I thought everyone knew that.

Awesome Videos: If you don’t watch Flight of the Conchords (HBO), you’re really missing an awesome show. Here’s the premiere of season 2.

Awesome News: Bowling a perfect game is one thing. Brothers both bowling perfect games is another. But two brothers both bowling perfect games on the same team during the same game in their bowling league is frickin’ crazy.

Awesome News: I love when new records are set, and I especially love when it’s a new “worst of all time” This past weekend, a movie called Delgo shattered the record for worst opening weekend ever for a wide release…$511k on 2,160 screens.

Awesome Sites: Want to get an autograph from your favorite celebrity? How about a personalized video message? Or, combine the two…a personalized video message for you at the same time the celebrity is autographing your stuff. Neat, huh? It’s called Live Autographs.

Awesome News: Some dude got arrested for paying a traffic ticket with pennies. He’ll be let off, though, that’s perfectly legal. I’ve actually researched this before, so let me educate you…the law says that legal US currency must be accepted for all debts. That means if you go into Home Depot and try to buy a hammer with pennies, they can refuse it (not a debt payment). But, legally, your mortgage company would have to accept payment in pennies.

Awesome Links: I’m pretty sure that dancing while intoxicated is the only way that I’ve ever danced. Here’s a handy guide to drunk dancing.

Awesome Products: Even though I’m pretty sure that my dogs do nothing but sleep when I’m gone, I really want to get this cool Pets View camera anyway.

Awesome Videos: The old He-Man cartoons were added to Hulu the other day!!! In related news, I got nothing else done yesterday. I think I watched the opening sequence about 100 times in a row. Hell I just watched it 6 times this morning as I was getting ready to post this link.

Awesome Products: Louis CK newest stand-up act just came out (today) on DVD. If you don’t mind a little adult language and a lot of laughing, pick it up. I personally haven’t seen it yet but I have no problem recommending this…that’s how funny he is. Search YouTube or something, you’ll see.

Awesome Sites: There’s a site called Tweet Congress which aims to be a hub for members of the US Congress who are using Twitter. There are currently 13 Democrats and 25 Republicans using it, and it’s a great way to have your voice heard…a few of them have becomes very active users.

Awesome Links: An excellent collection of the 11 Coolest Coffee Mugs. I especially love the MyCuppa Coffee, the Self-Stirring, and the On-Off Mug.

Awesome Videos: This starts out as a standard video of a girl roundhouse kicking a guy in the face and him falling over. But watch what happens after. Oh, and mad props to the cameraman for filming the aftermath. Everyone else has a lot to learn from him.

Awesome Sites: Kick YouTube is a new site that lets you download any YT video by just going up to the URL bar (when you’re watching a YT video) and replacing the “youtube.com” part with “kickyoutube.com”. It seems to be working sporadically right now because it got a ton of attention yesterday and is probably overloaded. Still, neat to keep in mind.

Awesome Links: Ever see a portable desktop? Me either. Some guy made it for about $300…not bad! Here’s the full photobucket collection.

Awesome Products: Make perfect smores at home with this Microwave S’mores Maker.

Awesome Videos: I mean, of course this river is going to be deeper than you thought. You sealed your own fate the minute someone turned on a video camera. Had there been no cameraman there, I’m convinced that this Jeep would have driven right through.

Awesome Links: Actual apples with the Apple logos on their side. Instead of telling everybody how he made them and showed a whole box full, he should have only made ONE of them and sold it on eBay like it was naturally occurring. He would have made zillions.
